I started working for Silversea Cruises in January 2004. I enjoyed the next 4 years traveling onboard, being exposed to cultures and cuisines from all around the world.
I had the honor of being Maitre'd of the 6-star Le Champagne Restaurant onboard this exquisite cruise liner. Le Champagne features a bespoke menu by top chefs and is the highest expression of excellence of French dining.
Upon my return to South Africa, I continued to expand my expertise by managing a few 5-star establishments within the Relais and Chateaux portfolio. In 2009 I became a member of Chaine des Rotisseurs and was awarded the Chef de Table ribbon.
Following my dream, my own business was founded in 2019. Corporate restaurants and coffee shops. This blog shares my passion and experiences with all foodies, coffee lovers, and anyone respecting and loving our beautiful planet.
